The #23 Florida football teams will play host to the North Texas Mean Green on Saturday. Here is how you can watch the game online.
The #23 Florida Gators opened their 2016 season against UMass, in a game that may have been a bit too close for comfort. Florida beat UMass 24-7 in their opener, but looked much better in their second game of the season. In their SEC opening game, the Gators crushed Kentucky 45-7, and will now host the North Texas Mean Green in Week 3.
Quarterback Luke Del Rio has been as good as advertised during the first two weeks of the season, and already has six touchdown passes. He has played very effectively, throwing only one interception, but that does not mean his coach has been easy on him. Florida head coach Jim McElwain is always critical of his quarterbacks, and Del Rio has been no different. Still, McElwain has to be happy with the play of Del Rio, who should have a huge day against North Texas on Saturday.
Del Rio may be without his best weapon on Saturday, as star wide receiver Antonio Callaway may miss the contest against North Texas. Callaway injured his quad during the Kentucky game, a game in which he had 13 catches for over 200 yards and two touchdowns. McElwain said he is highly questionable to doubtful for the contest, as the school may hold him out against an FCS opponent.

This should be a cakewalk for the Gators, who could possibly hang a 60-spot on the Mean Green. North Texas has played decently in 2016, and are coming off a solid win against Bethune-Cookman last week. Still, they are playing a school on a whole other level than they are used to, and will likely leave Ben Hill Griffin Stadium with an ugly loss.
